My new portrait studio is open for business.
Located in my loft-style mill apartment at 1001 Islington Street in Portsmouth, NH, the studio is just over 1 1/2 miles from exit 3 on Rt. 95, and the sunny shooting space is 14' x 18' with 14' ceilings, wood floor, and a west-facing brick wall with large windows.
There is a large mirror and counter space with plenty of light for doing hair and makeup, a separate room for changing, and the studio has lots of space for use of various backdrops, props, or for additional furniture if it can be acquired and easily moved into the apartment.

Directions
From the South
- Take I-95 North to NH exit 3 for NH-33 toward Greenland/Portsmouth
- Take a right off the exit
- After approximately 0.6 miles you will cross a small bridge and there will be a cemetery on your right and a park across to your left.
- Take a left at this intersection onto Islington Street (there is a red turn arrow)
- My studio will be approximately 1 mile up on the left. The entrance to the parking lot is just after Hovey's Photo (now closed) and a large sign on the side of the road with "1001" at the top and a larger "959" below it. If you pass Bank of America on your right you've gone too far. The building is the one in back to the left, and you can park anywhere in the lot.
From the North
- Take I-95 South to NH ext 5 for US-4/NH-16 towards Newington/Dover
- Keep right at the fork, following signs for US-1/Portsmouth Cir and merge onto NH-16 S/US-4 E/Spaulding Turnpike
- At the traffic circle (rotary, for those of you from MA), take the 3rd exit onto US-1 Bypass N, then immediately exit to the right for Woodbury Ave.
- At the stop sign take a right onto Woodbury Ave.
- Go all the way to the end where it curves around to the left, then at the bottom take a right onto Bartlett St.
- Veer left under the bridge to stay on Bartlett St., then at the stop light turn right onto Islington Street.
- My studio will be approximately 0.3 miles on the right. The entrance to the parking lot will be just past a building with a sign for "Chameleon Group", and just before Hovey's Photo (now closed) and the large sign on the side of the road that says "1001" at the top with a larger "959" below it. The building is the one in back to the left, and you can park anywhere in the lot.
